Registration for an ABN can be made for certain entities operating in Australia.
Incorrectly registering your entity may result in tax obligations applying to the registration.
Some associations/foundations will find that operations are better easily achieved when an ABN has been applied to the entity, as registration will give cognisance in the business world, however very careful attention must be paid during the process of registration to ensure the entity continues to be protected.
